About Us
Our Youth Ministry, has been around for a little over 15 years. It started in a small class room in our church building lead by Steve and Peggy Estrada. Through the years they started to move locations and started to hold it in the youth leaders home. The Youth Ministry became WALK THIS WAY a little over 7 years ago. They started to incorporate game time and time to hang out with one another. Once a month they would go on outings to all different kinds of places around the city. Through the years they saw that this small youth group that started as a hangout spot was constantly growing with more teens. It eventually grew them out and the WALK THIS WAY had to relocate.
In 2005 the WALK THIS WAY Youth Ministry Had its very own location. WALK THIS WAY opened its doors too all youth that wanted to come. With three game systems, an air hockey table, a foosball table, basket ball game, and arcade games, WALK THIS WAY started to see more and more growth.
In 2007 WALK THIS WAY had again out grown themselves. Since then the WALK THIS WAY has been held in the church. With more games and there very own Hot Spot Cafe, The WALK THIS WAY has come a long way and continues to reach out to all teens out there in the city of Chicago. With 30+ teens faithfully we have continued to offer our a greet place for teens to hang out and meet new people.
We have always believed that children and teenagers are the future of our tomorrow. We believe in rising up our next Generation to take over what has been established and take it to the next level.
